Big Family Portrait

I was given the near impossible task: get a group shot of seven kids where the oldest is in the second grade and the youngest is under 6 months where all of them are looking at the camera. Guess what? Whoopee! In the group photo are three different families, and so I will thank them in family order. Ready? A big, huge thanks goes out to Mr. J for being so handsome and helping me with his funny faces. Then comes Mr. S – thank you for being incredibly crazy and making me laugh! Thank you to Miss Z for not pick-pocketing my camera bag! Big thanks go out to my assistant, Miss D, for attempting to help wrangle everyone. As always a huge thanks goes out to Mr. C for being so cooperative (except at the end when you thought we all forgot about you)! Many, many thank go out to Baby T for being the laid back little guy that you are and only breaking down at the end when your big sister was insistent upon showing the world your six-pack abs….and finally, last but not least, HUGE thanks go out to Baby G for working it for the camera after such a rough afternoon. All seven of you were hysterical in your own ways and while all of your Mommies and Daddies were probably shaking their heads thinking that this was impossible, I’m glad to say that they were pretty close to wrong.

(Mommies and Daddies: Thank you guys for driving to our meeting place from different directions and taking a chance on this session. The kids did wonderfully. You should be proud!)

Donita - You have accomplished the impossible! I am the proud grandma of these 7 darlings and I can never get all them to cooperate for a group picture. Thak yo so much.

Robin - So impressive!! Only you could accomplish the impossible with such beauty and grace! Gorgeous pics! :)

C Family

I was so excited to see the C Family again, especially since they had a pretty little new addition in their home! It was great seeing how big Mr. A had become. The last time I saw him he couldn’t walk or talk. Now he speaks, he runs and he’s absolutely adorable. Baby B is the miniature, little lady version of her big brother and so so pretty…and Mom and Dad? It was wonderful to see them as always! I hope Mr. A ended up getting his blue lollypop for being such a good boy – and thank you Mom and Dad for pointing me in the direction of a gas station. I might have ended up stranded somewhere nearby!

H Family

I was so excited to meet the H family, who ended up with such a gorgeous day for their photos! And rightfully so…You see, Mommy and Daddy were married at this spot but on the day of their wedding it rained. Life came full circle and here they are – gorgeous day and three children later. I had so much fun with you guys and really, truly hope that you enjoyed your milkshakes after our session…and I really hope Grandma enjoyed hers. *wink* *wink*

Carey Moreno-Hunt - thanks so much for the sneak peak, i love them! can’t wait to see the rest! we had such a great time with you!

B Family

What a beautiful day for such a beautiful family! I had so much fun with these four on a day that proved to be the start of an amazing weather streak for Chicago. Good thing Mother Nature wasn’t so nice to us for our first scheduled session time! Big thanks go out to Baby L for having so much fun with the leaves and allowing me to get in his face with my big and sometimes scary camera. Big thanks go out to Mr. M for sneaking in the smiles for the camera when Mommy and Daddy weren’t looking. And big, big thanks go out to Mommy and Daddy for being so fun to work with! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day…and enjoy these sneak peeks!

P Family

Remember how just a few weeks ago it was cold, drizzling and yucky? Well Mr. J and Miss K sure braved the weather for their session with me. I was so proud of them for ignoring Mother Nature and having a good time. Big thanks go out to Mr. J for teaching me everything I needed to know about the magic dragon and his castle in the park. I’m very thankful that you saved me from falling into the moat and offered me your spot in the special forest. Big thanks go out to Miss K for twirling around in her gorgeous dress for me despite having the goosebumps and telling me all about the pumpkin patch. I had such a great time with you two, as I always do…and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
