Meet Caine. See those boxes behind him? That’s his arcade. That’s his arcade that HE BUILT with his own two little hands while on summer break. If you haven’t heard of this story yet, I’m glad you’re reading it here.
I always make it a point to encourage the imagination of my clients’ children when I’m with them. If they want to play princesses, army or school, I’m game. I have absolutely no problem crawling on the ground, attempting to climb up trees and burying myself in piles of leaves. Why? Well, first off…I don’t care if my clothes get dirty. I don’t even care if my camera gets dirty. What I do care about is that the smiles I get from these kids are genuine. I want them to be happy when I’m with them. What better to make them happy than living in their world for a bit?
When I read the Email forwarding me the link to the Caine’s Arcade video, I didn’t know what I was in for. This kid is one of the most creative I’ve seen in a long time and his father is a man who exemplifies what it means to harbor your child’s creativity and imagination. I think a lot of parents could learn a lesson just from watching this little video…
